For the second consecutive year, from May 21 to 23 2009, Moscow Crocus Expo exhibition center hosted the Second International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2009.
HeliRussia is the one and only exhibition in Russia, where domestic and foreign companies presented their bestsellers and latest products in all aspects of helicopter industry: from design and manufacture to operation.
144 companies from 16 countries took part in the exhibition, 15 helicopters were displayed at the exhibition from the manufacturers such as: Mil Helicopter plant, Kamov, Kazan, Eurocopter, AgustaWestland, Robinson. The initiator of the exhibition holding in Moscow was Helicopter Industry Association. The organizer of the show was Ministry of Industry and Trade.

С 21 по 23 мая 2009 года, в соответствии с распоряжением Правительства России, на территории «Крокус Экспо» прошла 2-я Международная выставка вертолетной индустрии «HeliRussia-2009». Выставка организовалась Министерством промышленности и торговли России по инициативе Ассоциации Вертолетной Индустрии.
В HeliRussia 2009 приняли участие 144 компании из 16 стран мира представили на выставке солидный объем экспозиций. Были выставлены и образцы продукции военного назначения. В павильоне для демонстрации выставлены 15 вертолетов, произведенных: «МВЗ им. М.Л. Миля», «Камов», «КВЗ», Eurocopter, Agusta Westland, Robinson. Особенностью экспозиции этого года стала демонстрация вертолета Ка–52.
